When it comes to destination weddings, we would go as far as saying a welcome party is a must. It doesn't have to be fancy or expensive (more on the financial side of it later in this post) - but, when else do you have all of your closest and dearest with you, free for an entire weekend?

L&S priority was to craft a deeply personal celebration with guest experience front of mind, and an organic take on design. Nothing was to be over the top - instead, every single element should hold meaning and look like it belonged there. Minimizing food / flower waste and giving their international guests a taste of France was also high on our agenda. So we designed their wedding day as a story that unfolded, space after space.

Surrounded by thirty of their closest friends and family, Alexandra and Mathieu said 'yes' in a charming French town - just a few miles away from Paris. A country celebration rooted in authenticity that took place in the bride's childhood home, a dream she held long before they even got engaged. Their reception unfolded in the pretty back garden, transformed for the occasion into a little corner of paradise inspired by summer.
